Many items concerned with equestrian pursuits are valued primarily for their functionality, consequently it is this that is often reflected in the way these items are portrayed.
I suggest that even the simplest of equestrian products can be portrayed as an item of beauty whilst not losing the integral focus of its function. This idea became the challenge when a client brief required a mixture of images to aid the marketing of the equestrian products they sell and quirky images to illustrate the joy of equestrianism.
My panel shows that the series of images can be seen as ornamental by a casual viewer, maintain a functional relevance to the equestrian expert and demonstrate the joys of equestrianism to all.
